摘要
农村是社会的主体,而且农民占全国人口的绝大多数,这就决定了农民在中国社会生活中的重要地位。农民身份的制度安排经历了一个曲折而渐进的过程,虽然农民身份制度化是国家在特定历史条件下的必然选择,但却导致农民政治、经济、社会权利的缺失。因此,在当今中国,消除对农民的歧视,确立和保障农民的平等权利,解决农民二等公民的身份问题迫在眉睫。
The Countryside is main body of society in our country; moreover farmers dominate the majority of the whole population, which denote that farmers occupy an important position in our social life. The process of institutional arrangement for the farmer＇ s status was devious and gradual. It is inevitable choice under specific historical condition for the government that the status of farmers was systematized,but actually which causes the deficiency in the political, the economical and the social rights. Therefore, at present, in China, it is urgent for the whole country to eliminate the discrimination against farmers, establish and safeguards farmer＇s equal rights, solve the problem of farmers as second-class citizens.
