摘要
依据认知语言学关于转喻认知模式的研究理论,人类的转喻思维模式在语篇生成和识解过程中起着重要作用,它既是语篇发展的主要模式,也体现于交际者对语篇的动态识解过程中。试图将转喻机制研究与心理框架理论结合起来为语篇连贯提供较完整的认知解释方案。
This article aims to extend the cognitive linguistics＇ findings on metonymy to the analysis of text coherence. It argues that the metonymic mechanism prevalent in human cognition plays an important role in the process of text construal as well as that of text production. After pointing out the flaws in frame theory of coherence, the paper makes an attempt at blending the theory with metonymic mechanism research to provide an integrated cognitive approach towards text coherence.
