A System for Detecting Loose Stator Wedges in Large Generator

摘要 本文对不同固定结构槽楔的松动过程进行了研究,提出通过获取其振动特性(声和位移)来综合判断槽楔的松动程度,并在此基础上利用National Instrument公司的软件平台LabVIEW和数据采集卡开发了槽楔松动振动检测系统,快速准确地判断了槽楔的松动性。 Stator bars may get into vibration fiercely caused by the electromagnetic force due to the existence of loose wedges in large generators, which would accelerate the deterioration of the insulation system, even making the generators step into calamity ultimately without any treatment. So it is significant to detect loose wedges in stator slots for the normal operation of generators. This paper studies the loose process of stator slot wedge with different fixing style, and makes a judgement whether wedge is tight or loose based on its vibration characteristics(the sound and displacement). Moreover, a loose wedge detecting equipment developed with NI Labview and DAQoad is introduced in this paper.
