摘要
句式变换是有语用理据的。英语前置句型的语用理据具体表现为该句型在语篇中的功能。以往研究局限于前置句型在语篇中的宏观功能,其微观功能很少探讨。本文先从基本理论框架入手,探讨了前置与话题的关系与可前置的句子信息。从微观角度看,英语前置句型可以实现以下语篇功能语篇的衔接与连贯;焦点强调;话题导入;对比;补充说明;语义修正。
Change of sentence patterns is dependent upon pragmatic meaning. The pragmatic underpinnings for the use of English preposings are demonstrated by the various discourse functions of this type of sentence structures. The past research on the subject focuses on the macro-functions of preposing in discourse and few studies have touched upon its micro-functions. This article first deals with two theoretical issues： the relationship between preposing and topic; the information segment which can be preposed. Upon the micro-level, English preposings can realize the following discourse functions; textual cohesion and coherence; focusforegrounding; topic-introducing; contrasting; after-thought introducing; semantic correction.
