摘要
与我国教师专业化发展相生相随,传统“师道”已成为时下公众普遍关注的话题。中国传统“师道”在师表上强调“君子、大人”的儒雅与正气,在师法上强调教师恩威并重之尊严与权威,在师职上强调“传道、授业、解惑”、清贫乐道和悔人不倦之职责与操行。如今,由于人类民主制度的提升,公众对传统“师道”的批判及教师自身的妄自菲薄,传统“师道”日益衰微,但无论从教师的角色地位还是学校教育、课堂教学的特质看,我们都应秉持传统“道之当尊、师之当严、器之当锐”的精神气质。
With the development of Chinese teaching profession, the traditional dignity of teaching profession has become a hot talk and attracted much more attention, even fiery debates among scholars. So what is the Chinese traditional dignity of teaching profession? Why should we maintain and innovate it? The author characterizes his own experiences as both teacher and student, of the j udgement and proposals.
