摘要
只有充分理解了学校教育功能的有限性,才能正确指导社会、学校和学生理性而有效地选择教育途径和目标,科学地配置教育资源,从而实现教育效益的最大化。学校教育的基本功能就是部分张扬或者抑制人的自然天性。作为对学校教育功能研究的基础假设,新的学校教育功能观应包括从抑制到张扬——学校教育之于个人的发展;从无限到有限——学校教育之于社会的发展;从有用到有意义——学校教育功能的超越。
Only when the limitation of school educational functions are fully comprehended can we correctly guide society, schools and students to choose educational approach and objectives rationally and effectively and to scientifically dispose educational resources so as to realize the maximization of educational beneficial results. With the basic hypothesis of schooling function research that the fundamental functions of schooling partially enhance or restrain people's natural es- sence, the new outlook of schooling functions should include, from inhibition to enhancement schooling for individual development, from infinitude to finitude schooling for social development, from usefulness to meaningfulness--surpassing of schooling function.
