摘要
本文分析了汤亭亭在《女勇士》中建构理想女性时所用策略,指出汤亭亭的女性人物是在男权社会中贬抑女性的观念占统治地位的情况下,为了颠覆这些观念重塑女性形象的一次积极的尝试,是消除自身因为性别原因产生的焦虑而采取的策略。
This article takes the female identity construction in Maxine Hong Kingston＇s The Woman Warrior as its subject, focusing on the anxiety a modem woman encounters in the society and the strategies she uses to release the anxiety in the process of writing her autobiography. Kingston constructs her ideal female images by deconstructing the stereotypes of female images in the male-dominant society.
