摘要
目的:在对自我调节及其与自我调节相关的概念进行介绍的基础上,分析自我调节过程,并从集体主义和个人主义视角下比较自我调节在目标选择和实现,行为决定因素方面的文化差异,分析中国文化下自我调节的特点。资料来源:应用计算机检索ProQuest数据库(PsychologyJournals)1995-01/2005-08和CNKI数据库1994-01/2006-02中与自我调节相关的书籍和文献,检索词英文“self-regulation”,中文“自我调节”。资料选择:从资料中选取对自我调节跨文化研究进行分析的有关文献。纳入标准:①包括实验研究文章和综述文章。②自我调节行为的相关跨文化研究和著作。排除标准:①两个数据库的重复文献。②文献中的重复研究。资料提炼:共收集到128篇关于自我调节行为的英文文章,排除了重复文献、重复研究以及非跨文化研究的文章后,有16篇文献纳入标准。其中中文文献5篇,英文文献11篇。资料综合:西欧和北美等西方国家的文化是典型的个体主义文化代表,而亚洲的日本、印度和中国等东方国家的文化则是典型的集体主义文化代表。17篇文章分别从行为特点、思维方式、家庭教养方式、学习心理和学习特点等方面比较了自我调节的文化差异。结论:中国传统文化强调社会取向而忽视个人的价值,尊严与权利,由此也产生了种种弊病。在进行跨文化研究时,不仅要从宏观层面去对文化模式进行划分,同时个体之间的人格差异也不可忽视,应该全面地考虑到多种可能,才能够对研究结果做出满意的解释。
OBJECTIVE: To analyze the process of self-regulation based on the introduction of self-regulation and relevant concepts about it, and compare the cultural differences in objective selection, realization and determinant factors of self-regulation from collectivism and individualism perspective as well as analyze the characters of self-regulation under Chinese culture. DATA SOURCES: A computer-based search of books and papers about self-regulation between January 1995 and August 2005 was conducted in ProQuest Database (Psychology Journals) and CNKI Database between January 1994 and February 2006 with the key words of "self-regulation". STUDY SELECTION: The literatures on self-regulation of cross-culture were selected. The inclusive criteria:①Reviews and experimental studies. ②The cross-cultural correlative studies of self-regulation. The exclusive criteria: ①Repetitive studies in two databases. ②Repetitive researches in literatures. DATA EXTRACTION: A total of 128 English papers about self-regulation were collected, and repeated studies, papers and the papers of non-cross cultural were excluded. Sixteen literatures were in accordance with the inelusive criteria, in which 5 were Chinese literatures and 11 were English literatures. DATA SYNTHESIS: Culture of western Europe and North American are of typical individualism, while those of Japan, Indian and China in Asian are of typical collectivism. The cultural differences of self-regulation were compared in 17 papers respectively from aspects of behavioral traits, thinking method, rearing style, learning psychology and learning characters. CONCLUSION: In Chinese traditional culture, the social orientation is emphasized, whereas personal value, dignity and right are neglected, and thus resulting in all sorts of diseases.
