构建社会主义和谐社会的重大战略任务,需要调动一切积极因素,团结一切可以团结的力量。佛教具有丰富的有益思想资源,无论是在和谐的理念上,还是在道德、文化、心态以及生态等方面所表现出的独特功能,都对构建和谐社会有着积极的影响和作用。
Constructing a socialist harmonious society is an important strategic mission, which requires that we bring every positive factor into play and unite all the parties as far as we can. Buddhism has abundant beneficial ideological resources. With its philosophy on harmony and its unique functions in respects of ethics, culture, mentality and zoology, it plays an active role in constructing a harmonious society.
