摘要 本文以建构主义的教学思想为指导,结合外语文化习得的认知特点,针对传统的知识中心模式的弊端,提出以主题为单元(pro ject-based)、以任务为驱动(task-m otivated)、以解决问题为目的(prob lem-so lv ing-oriented)、以合作学习为核心(cooperative-learn ing-centered)的外语文化教学模式,并详细介绍了该模式在课堂教学中的具体操作。 This paper makes an attempt to integrate the theories of constructivism into culture teaching in ELT. The integration gives full consideration to the cognitive features of target-culture acquisition in ELT, and finally produces a model which is project-based, task-motivated, problem-solving-oriented and cooperative-learning-centered. This model is designed to jump over the limitation of traditional “culture as knowledge”model and to help students not only increase the target culture proficiency, but also gain cultural awareness and reflective, tolerant attitudes.
