摘要
本文主要研究英语课堂焦虑感对学生口语水平的影响及克服策略.焦虑感在本研究中被分为性格焦虑和状态焦虑.假设两者呈正相关,且都和口语水平呈负相关,通过教学实验可以降低学生的状态焦虑,抑制性格焦虑,提高口语水平.调查结果与假设相符,实验取得了预期的效果.此结果有助于加深教师对焦虑因素的全面认识和对课堂环境的宏观调控,帮助学生克服情感障碍,提高口语水平.
The paper presents an investigation on the impacts of anxiety on students' oral English performance and supplies some strategies for coping with them. In this study, anxiety is categorized into trait anxiety and state anxiety. It is hypothesized that they are positively correlated with each other and negatively correlated with the students' oral English performance. Through the experimental treatment, students' oral English is expected to get improved with their speech anxiety reduced to a certain extent. The result of the experiment is consistent with the hypothesis. This result will help the teachers better understand the anxiety factors in students' learning process in order to improve their capacity of manipulating the classroom environment, and help the students successfully overcome their affective barrier and improve their oral English.
