摘要 将碳酸乙烯酯与甲醇酯交换合成碳酸二甲酯的反应和乙二醇与对苯二甲酸二甲酯酯交换合成聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯(PET)的反应偶合,建立了同时合成碳酸二甲酯和PET的新方法.探索了有机锡、钛酸酯、乙酸盐和金属氧化物等不同催化剂对合成碳酸二甲酯和PET的影响.二丁基氧化锡的催化效果最佳,其碳酸二甲酯的收率达68.4%. Dimethyl carbonate (DMC) is an environmental ly benign chemical intermediate The synthesis methods for DMC include phosgenation, oxidative carbonylation of methanol, and transesterification of ethylene carbonate (EC) and methanol. The transesterification of EC and methanol to DMC (reaction 1) is the most attractive method because EC can be produced from ethylene oxide and carbon dioxide, which is the largest source of greenhouse gases.In industry, polyethylene terephthalate (PET) is manufactured by the transesterification of ethylene glycol and dimethyl terephthalate (DMT) as shown in reaction 2. If reaction 1 and reaction 2 are coupled, a new synthesis route to co-produce DMC and PET can be established(reaction 3). This route is an excellent green chemical process because of its use of carbon dioxide, high atom utilization and absence of by-products.
