In April 2003, during the extended-construction of Wangxizhi's former residence which is located at Xiyanchi street, Linyi city, Shandong province, two large-sized brick tombs (coded M1, M2) dated back to Western Jin were unearthed. M1 is a vaulting tomb with two juxtaposing chambers; there are three skeletons of immature persons and a large quantity of burial articles. In western chamber, pottery, porcelain, bronze, iron, gold, jade, lacquer ware are in total of 273. Among all those relics, the most exquisite objects are celadon shuizhu vessel in shape of non-Han people riding lion and bronze lamp pedestal in shape of celestial being riding lion. A batch of lacquer were inscribed with red words such as 'the 7th year of Taikang (太康)', 'the 8th year of Taikang (太康)' . M2 is a joint couple burial which consists of a corridor and a vaulting top chamber, Unfortunately, it has been stolen and disturbed. Judging from the structure of the tombs and burial articles, the author concludes that the date of the two tombs is between late Western Jin and early Eastern Jin, and obviously, they belonged to a rich and powerful family.
