摘要
西方的翻译活动已有两千多年的历史。在这漫长的翻译活动中,人们对翻译的思考和理论也越来越多。不同时代不同流派的学者从不同的角度对翻译进行了各自的阐释,在阐释的过程中,有些概念不断地得到充实、完善,而有一些却至今也未有一个明确的界定,但使用、出现的频率却相当高。规范就是这样的一个概念。本文拟对规范这一概念作一番简单梳理,并指出翻译规范研究对整个翻译研究的意义和对我国翻译研究的启示。
Western translation activities date back over 2,000 years. During the long process, more and more thinking and theories about translation have been emerging. Many scholars have explained translation-related issues from different points of views. Some of the terms in translation have already been clarified and enriched, whereas some others, in spite of the fact that they are quite commonly used, remain unclear.“Norm” is such a term. This paper aims to summarize the main different aspects of the research on norms in translation and also its significance to the whole Translation Studies and enlightenment for Translation Studies in China.
