摘要
北京体育大学对2003级学生进行英语水平测试,对测试结果作了认真的分析,并按照测试的成绩对学生实施分级教学。研究发现分级教学有利于调动学生的主动性和创造性,开阔学生的视野,便于他们相互比较,从而对英语学习更有信心,提高了学生的英语综合运用能力,掌握了自主学习的方法。同时对同一层次的学生授课有利于教师根据学生的自身水平组织教学,实现因材施教的教学原则,最大程度地提高课堂教学效率。最后,英语高班的学生能够成为整个专业学生英语学习的榜样,提高初级班和中级班学生学习英语的动力,从而全面促进英语教学。
Based on the proficiency tests to the students of Grade 2003 of Beijing Sport University, the paper makes a comprehensive and extensive analysis of the test results and aptitude-based teaching is carried out to students of different English levels.It's been found out that aptitude-based teaching is of great help in stimulating students' motivation and creativity, widening their horizon, enhancing their confidence in English study, improving their command of English and helping them master the correct way of self-study. Secondly, the English teachers can teach the students according to their English levels, maximizing the teaching efficiency. Finally, students in the higher-level class can be the role models of those in the lower-level classes, encouraging their motivation in English study and overall stimulating English study.
