摘要
在跨文化交际中由于双方文化背景、思维习惯、推理方式不同而造成语用失误。本文讨论了中国学生在学习英语过程中出现的语用失误现象,并指出语用失误归根结底与学生所掌握的语用知识的多少和应用能力的强弱有关联,强调培养学生语用能力的重要性。
Pragmatic failures in cross-cultural communication often occur due to different cultural background, thinking habits, reasoning modes of the participants. This paper mainly discusses the phenomena of pragmatic failures in Chinese learners learning process, and points out that pragmatic failures are correlated with the amount of the learners pragmatic knowledge and the strength of their practical abilities, thus aiming at emphasizing the importance of developing the learners pragmatic competence.
