Influence of Mo Addition on the Microstructure and Properties of Reactive HVOF Spraying TiC-Ni Metallic Ceramic Coatings

摘要 利用反应超音速火焰喷涂合成技术制备了3种不同M o含量的TiC-N i金属陶瓷涂层,并对涂层进行了组织和性能研究。结果表明,在涂层中添加适量的金属M o(5%),可以提高涂层的显微硬度和耐冲蚀磨损性能,但M o含量太大时(10%),涂层的显微硬度和耐冲蚀磨损性能又有所降低。分析认为,适量M o的添加可以改善液态金属N i对TiC的润湿性,提高涂层的致密性,从而提高涂层的硬度和耐冲蚀磨损性能;M o含量太大时,涂层中的环形相过分发达,又会使涂层硬度和耐冲蚀磨损性能降低。 Three kinds of TiC-Ni metallic ceramic coatings with different Mo-content were made by reactive HVOF spraying,and the microstructure and properties were studied.The results show that appropriate addition-Mo(5%) can improve the hardness and the resistance to erosion of coatings,but which have a little fall when coatings contain too many Mo(10%).The reason is that appropriate addition-Mo can improve the wettability of liquid metal Ni and TiC, and then improve the tightness of coatings, but when Mo-content increases to 10%, the crisp surrounding-structure in coatings is excessive which reduce the hardness and resistance to erosion of coatings.
