摘要
对翻译转移的研究肇始于上个世纪50年代,它试图通过系统地描写和分类翻译中出现的"译自源发文本的目标文本中出现的细微的语言变化"来达到全面、科学地反映原文与译文之间语义、文体、语用、衔接和美学效果等关系的目的。从早期维内和达贝尔内对翻译过程的详细划分到如今图里对制约和影响翻译转移的"规范"的探讨,对翻译转移的研究发展至今已有50余年的历史。在此,本文将回顾翻译转移研究的发展历程,比较各种翻译转移模式的异同,并指出翻译转移研究的发展趋势。
The study of translation shifts, which attempts to systematically describe and classify the 'small linguistic changes occurring in translation of ST to TT' so as to establish the semantic, stylistic, pragmatic, cohesive and aesthetic relationships between them, can be traced back to the 1950s. During its development of more than fifty years, the study of translation shifts has also moved on from Vinay and Darbelnet's detailed taxonomies of translation procedures in the early stage, to Toury's current study of 'norms' governing and constraining translation shifts. The present paper reviews the history of the study of translation shifts, compares various models and points out trends of development in the future.
