摘要
外国报刊选读课是教学大纲所规定的课程之一,然而教学现状为这一课程的开展设置了种种障碍.本文建议采用建构主义教学理论对报刊选读课教学进行彻底改革,并介绍了在这一理论指导下我们所采取的教学模式.本文指出,此项改革不但减轻了教师的授课负担,而且调动了学生的学习积极性并使他们所掌握的知识更加深入和完善.
English Newspaper Reading is a course required by the syllabus for the undergraduate English majors. Yet the teaching status quo somewhat impedes the smooth implementation of this course. This article calls on a thorough reform of this course based on the Construtivist theory and introduces a teaching model adopted by the author under the guidance of this theory. This article concludes that this reform not only facilitates the teaching process, but also motivates the students to have a deeper and more comprehensive knowledge exploration.
