摘要
澳大利亚体裁教学法原来主要用于中小学和成人移民的英语教育。在对某大学英语专业学生进行了一个学期的写作教学实验后,进行数据对比分析。结果表明,该教学法同样有助于大学英语教学,在提高ESL学习者写作水平的同时,该教学法能够让学习者更加重视写作的交际目的和相应的词汇语法特征。由此说明该教学法具有较强的实用性,可以进一步推广使用。
Australian genre-based teaching approach was originally applied in English education for primary and middle school and Adult immigrants. This approach, after it has been experienced among English majors for a whole semester, indicates that it is also effective in Chinese college English teaching. It not only contributes to the improvement of ESL learners' writing level, but draw their attention to the communicative purpose and corresponding language features of English writing, therefore, this genre-based teaching approach can be further popularized because of its applicabilities.
