摘要
运用当今认知心理学的理论,解释外语学习现象,把外语学习过程作为人处理信息的过程来研究,是近年来研究外语学习心理较新的一种方法。它从一个角度提出了一些对外语教学颇有启发性的问题,为深入探讨外语学习心理提供了一条宝贵的途径。
Recent studies of information-processing throw much light on the L2 learning process. This paper examines some human information-processing features significant in accountingfor L2 learning phenomena and their implications for foreign language pedagogy. Havingdiscussed the possibility of building up an independent L2 system free from L1 interferencein the long-term memory, the author suggests that the controversy over the possibility ofthinking in a foreign language might best be viewed in the light of the estabilishment andautomatization of this L2 system.
