摘要
李先生说 :“我们的英语教学方法都错了 ,一个研究了几十年英语语法的人 ,在谈判桌上口笨耳聋 ,只有疯狂英语才能让中人国说流利的英语。”我认为李先生这种说法是极端片面的 ,是不科学的。首先 ,任何一种学习方法都是一个不断创新、改进、完善的过程 ,它们都是相互联系的 ,都是在前者的基础上发展起来的 ,根本就不存在哪一种方法是绝对的对 ,哪一种方法是绝对的错。第二 ,中国人学英语有其特殊的客观环境、条件和各种目的 ,从而也就形成了中国人学英语的特有的某些规律、模式和方法的多样性。第三 ,英语的发展已远远超出了英语语言本身的范畴 ,而是包容了人类现代社会在科技、文化、思想意识的各个方面 ,并与之发展而发展 ,因此 ,英语学习根本就不仅仅是一个英语学习的方法问题 ,对英语疯狂的问题 ,而是对现代科技、文化。
Mr. Li Yang said “The English Teaching methods we are using have been all wrong. A person who has studied English grammar for decades of years can't understand English by speaking and listening when negotiating with foreigners” I think what Mr. Li Yang said is extremely one sided and not reasonable. Actually, any method has a process of development, improvement and completion. All the methods are related to one another and each one is developed and improved based on the former one. Not a method is absolutely wrong or right. The second, Chinese people have particular circumstances, conditions and different goals in learning English, which lead to some particular methods and rules for Chinese people to learn English. The Third, the development of English is far beyond English language itself. English contains all the aspects of human's development in science, technology, culture, ideology and society, and with the further development of them, English is also developing. So learning English is not only an understanding, a craziness to English, but also an understanding and craziness to social and scientific knowledge.
