According to the article,BJPs guiding ideology has experienced three stages of change in the period of the 1980s and 1990s and,as a resalt,a stress on safeguarding the characteristics of Hindu religion has been replaced by advocating of taking Hindu as guiding ideology and sole symbol of the nation of India.
