摘要
以中美两国政府例行记者招待会中发言人话语的英文文本为研究素材,就中美两国发言人使用模糊限制语的情况进行对比研究。通过对比分析,主要有以下发现:共同点是双方均倾向于使用缓和型模糊限制语,且直接缓和模糊限制语占比例较大;不同点是美国发言人使用模糊限制语频率高,且种类繁多,而中方特点为模糊限制语使用频率低种类单一,并以情态助动词为主。
