摘要
法律语言体现出强烈的权力意志,大量名物化结构即为显例.本文以功能语言学的语法隐喻理论为依据,对法律英语大量使用名物化结构与法律语篇的联系进行了探讨,而后对该结构在法律英语语篇中的表达形式及其功能进行了剖析,最后对英汉思维在表达时在语法层面上的区别进行比较,进而为名物化结构的汉译提供一个翻译思路.
Legal English is a genre showing strong power will,as can be witnessed by the use of nominalization in legal discourse.This article analyzes this phenomena,its function,and its connection with the discourse genre,and tries to reveal its linguistic basis;this article also talks about the differences between the Chinese and English way of expression in grammatical aspect,and the relevant translating approach thereof.
