摘要
在上海的近代化进程中,逐步塑造了"海纳百川、追求卓越、开明睿智、大气谦和"的上海城市精神。从《杨德广八十评述评论》一书来看,上海城市精神对高等教育思想的影响主要体现在开放、创新、包容、关爱四个方面。上海城市精神是一种海派文化,生活在这个文化环境的师生的思维方式会受到浸润与影响。杨德广高等教育思想由于杨德广的个人风格而提出,又由于广大师生受到上海城市精神的熏陶而加以配合与落实,杨德广的孕育高等教育思想"曲高和不寡"。该书充分体现了上海城市精神为高等教育思想提供了良好的氛围与空间,杨德广高等教育思想的提出、落实,深深打上了上海城市精神的烙印。
