摘要
从中世镰仓、室町时代的五山禅林到近世江户时代的德川儒学,日本对《孟子》的接受经历了一个从接受、批判到再阐释的“动态”发展过程。在综合文献考证与思想史研究的基础上,本文以《五杂俎》“携《孟子》赴日船只倾覆”公案为切入点,重点考察中世禅林到近世儒学对《孟子》的批判与再阐释,不仅清晰地把握了日本对孟子思想的接受轨迹,明确了儒学日本化的进程中日本民族意识的觉醒及思想的转变,同时还对探讨日本儒学向近代化转型具有启发意义。
Japanese reception of the Mencius went through discussions by the scholars of Gozan Zenrin in the Medieval times of Kamakura Period and Muromachi Period and the Confucian schools in the Edo Period of Early Modern Japan,which is a dynamic process of reception,criticizing,and reinterpretation.On the basis of a conducted textual research and a reorganizing of the intellectual history,this research explored the story recorded in Wu Zazu of the capsizing of the Japan-bounding ship on which copies of the Mencius were loaded.Besides,the history of Japanese reception of the Mencius by the Medieval Zenrin and the Confucian scholars in Early Modern Japan is inspected with emphasis.By probing into the Japanese reception history of the Mencius,this research not only presents the spreading course of the Chinese Confucianism in Japan,but also clarifies the awakening of the Japanese national consciousness and the turning of its ideology in the process of Japanese reception of the Mencius,which is enlightening to the discussion on the modernization of Confucianism in Japan.
