摘要
“中华”是中华民族共同体意识的首要词源,也是影响中国人的核心概念。“中华”一词在不同历史时期各民族的表述有差异性,历经诸多的语境嬗变。“中华”一词由“中国”“华夏”两个关键词结合而成,经魏晋南北朝“夷入中华”的拓展,唐宋辽“混一中华”的整合,元明清“中华一统”的强化,于清末国家转型被正式确立为国名。“中华”概念的历史记述体现出中华民族“自在”共同体交往融合的发展形态和政治、文化、民族、国家等共同体内涵,呈现了各民族共创并认同“中华”的历史。
“Zhonghua”is the primary origin of the phrase“sense of community for the Chinese nation,”as well as the core concept that influences Chinese people.Expressions by different ethnic groups for the word“Zhonghua”vary in different historical periods,and have gone through numerous contextual changes.“Zhonghua”is the combination of two keywords,“Zhongguo(China)”and“Huaxia(a historical concept representing the Chinese nation).”After the“Yi entering Zhonghua”expansion in the Wei,Jin and the Southern and Northern dynasties,the“merging other ethnic groups into Zhonghua”integration in the Tang,Song,and Liao dynasties,and the“unifying Zhonghua”consolidation in the Yuan,Ming,and Qing dynasties,the word“Zhonghua”is officially affirmed as the name for the nation alongside the state transformation in late Qing dynasty.The historical narrative of the concept“Zhonghua”not only reflects the“exchange and integration”development pattern of the“in-itself”community for the Chinese nation,but also demonstrates that the history of“Zhonghua”is co-created and recognized by all ethnic groups in China.
