摘要
本研究基于代际传递及社会融入的视角,使用"中国教育追踪调查"(CEPS)2013-2014年基线数据,借助最小二乘回归、有序罗杰斯特回归及分位数回归方法,探究了我国农民工随迁子女的教育期望问题。研究发现,在城市出生并长大的随迁子女二代的教育期望及教育代际关系与城市子代已基本无异;从农村迁移到城市的随迁子女一代对较低学历的教育期望高于城市初中生,对较高学历的教育期望低于城市初中生;随迁子女一代的教育期望与父母教育水平的代际相关性(继承性)低于城市子代,主要表现在农民工父辈的教育获得对于随迁子女低学历期望的抑制作用和高学历期望的激励作用均低于城市样本;不同于城市父母主要将自身教育背景的"优势"传递给子女,农民工父母更多地将家庭背景的"劣势"传递给了随迁子女。本研究揭示了农民工家庭面临"贫困陷阱"的新的表现形式,为未来我国教育扶贫工作重点转移提供了参考。
Based on the perspective of intergenerational transmission and social integration,using the 2013-2014 baseline data of"China Education Panel Survey(CEPS)",this paper explores the educational expectation of migrant workers’children in China by using the Least Square Regression,ordered Logistic Regression and Quantile Regression method.It is found that the educational expectation level and intergenerational relationship of the"second-generation migrant children",who are born and raised up in cities are basically the same as those of urban children;The"first generation migrant children"who migrated from rural areas to urban areas have higher educational expectations for lower-level qualifications,lower educational expectations for higher-level qualifications than students in urban areas.The intergenerational correlation(inheritance)between the educational expectation of the migrant children and their parents’educational level is lower than that of the urban children,which is mainly manifested in that both the inhibitory effect of the migrant parents’educational attainment on the educational expectation of the migrant children towards lower-level qualifications,and the incentive effect on their educational expectation towards higherlevel qualifications,are lower than that of the urban students.Unlike urban parents who pass on to their children the"advantages"of their own educational background,migrant parents pass on the"disadvantages"of their families to their children.The results of this study reveal a new form of"poverty trap"faced by migrant rural families,and provide a reference for the shift of the focus of"education for poverty alleviation"work in China in the future.
