摘要
四川盆地面积广阔,河川纵横,地形复杂多变,交通运输对城市发展的影响至关重要。在长期的历史发展中,水运是四川城市间经济交往的最主要方式,四川城市也因水而兴,沿河沿江分布。但水运运能拓展空间有限,且受河流走向限制,四川城市间以及与其他地区城市的联系十分薄弱。近代以来,历届政府均试图通过发展陆上交通,以突破水运对四川城市发展的限制。中华人民共和国成立后,成渝铁路很快建成通车,资阳、内江、隆昌、永川等沿线城市先后兴起并迅速发展,四川城市由此进入因路而兴,沿路沿线分布的发展阶段。
The Sichuan Basin is constituted by a vast land mass,is crisscrossed by rivers,and the terrain is complex and mutable.Transportation has historically played an important role in urban development.From a historical standpoint,transportation via water has been the most important economic lifeline for Sichuan cities,which thrived due to their proximity to waterways.However,due to the limited space for riverside expansion and the restriction of river direction,connections to extra-Sichuan cities were relatively weaker.In modern times,successive governments attempted to overcome these obstacles in water transportation by shifting resources to terrestrial transportation.After the founding of PRC,the ChengduChongqing Railway was quickly built and opened for use.Cities along Ziyang,Neijiang,Longchang,and Yongchuan have subsequently experienced rapid development.Since then,Sichuan cities have entered a new stage of development characterized by terrestrial travel and distribution.
