To study the lipolytic mechanism of EGCG,effects of EGCG(epigallocatechin-3-gallate)on lipolysis in rat primary adipocytes and mRNA expression of hormone-sensitive lipase(HSL),triacylglycerol hydrolase(TGH)were invest...To study the lipolytic mechanism of EGCG,effects of EGCG(epigallocatechin-3-gallate)on lipolysis in rat primary adipocytes and mRNA expression of hormone-sensitive lipase(HSL),triacylglycerol hydrolase(TGH)were investigated through determination of glycerol release,triglyceride(TG)content and RT-PCR.The results showed that,EGCG of lower concentration(5 μmol/L)had no effects on glycerol release of mature adipocytes,while higher concentration could remarkable stimulate glycerol release compared with control group.Meanwhile,TG content in adipocytes of treated groups decreased in dose-dependent manners,proving that EGCG is an effective accelerant to lipolysis.Additionally,EGCG significantly down-regulated TGH and HSL mRNA expression,and the expression of TGH and HSL mRNA were very low when treated with 200 μmol/L EGCG.展开更多
