In this paper, moral law is divided into three components: “wollen”, “sollen” and its universal content. Schelling put forward the concepts of will, requirement and pure self-regulation in the practical philosophy part of System of Transcendental Idealism, starting from will and taking the development of self-consciousness as the main line. This paper interprets the various clauses of the categorical imperative based on this. Finally, through Willkür, the self attains the absolute will, and the position of the categorical imperative in transcendental idealism is fully outlined.
