Ci is divided into two schools. One is 'grace and restraint school' and the other is 'boldness and unconstraint school'. Its major contributing factors include the following points: first, influence of philosophy. Second, differences of spiritual bearing, intelligence and temperament existing among people who wrote ci. Third, divergence from culture acquisition. Fourth, diversity in the choice of sbuject and theme.
