摘要
同音词是语言中极其重要而又十分普遍的现象。从同音词的形式、同音词产生的原因、同音词在语言中的作用、同音词引起的歧义和含混、如何避免同音词的误解等方面对英汉同音词进行比较,有助于英汉语言的学习。
Homophones are the universal and very important phenomena in languages.This essay analyses the English and Chinese homophones from the points of the forms of homophones,the causes of homophones,the function of homophoes in languages,the ambiguity and vagueness caused by homophones,and how to avoid the misunderstanding of homophones.
