The merits of modification of polymer radiation, polymer irradiation grafting, polymer radiation cross-linking and radiation degradation were introduced, which made people know lots of about radiation that would do more avail than the destroy it makes. In addition, the method and the theory about polymer irradiation grafting, polymer radiation cross-linking were discussed briefly; and the development and the foreground about modification of radiation were summarized.
