摘要
本文认为,在历史上澳大利亚的民族认同/身份经历种族认同和文化认同,在20世纪70年代以后随多元文化政策的推行,在共同国民意识、公民意识基础上才趋于独立和成熟。民族认同发展和演变的过程也是澳大利亚走向开放的、民主的、成熟的现代社会的过程。
I argue in the paper that after the development of racial identity and cultural identity, Australia has developed a mature and independent national identity based on civic consciousness by implementing the multicultural policy since 1970s. In this process Australia has turned into a opening, democratic and mature modern society.
