摘要
英语小句中的时态和时间环境成分都是表达时间概念的重要语言手段 ,前者是语法手段 ,建构三种高度概括的时间关系 ,体现时间的质 ;后者是词汇手段 ,表示与时间关系有关的时间的量。系统功能语法认为 ,时态和时间环境成分之间存在反映关系。通过研究 ,本文发现 ,此二者之间是照应关系 ,并且体现在前者时间结构中时间参照点和事件发生时间 ,与后者表示的简单或复合经验时间之间的一一相对的反映关系上。
Tenses and temporal circumstance elements are very important language resources embodying time concept in the English clause. Tenses are of grammar and realize three highly generalized time relationships, which concern with time quality. Temporal circumstance elements are lexical. They involve time quantity which specifies the elements of the former's time schema. The Systemic-Functional Linguistics holds that these two resources form a mirror relationship. However, this paper assumes that it is not a mirror but coordinating relationship which reflects in one-to-one mirror relationships between the reference time(s) and the event time(s) of time schema(ta) of (a) tense(s) and simple or compound experiential time expressed by (a) temporal circumstance element(s).
