摘要
华兹华斯在作品中频频论及生死问题,从不同角度和层面阐发自己的生命意识,形成了一个引人注目的、比较独特的文学现象。但令人遗憾的是,学界对他生命意识的研究却出现了不应有的忽视现象。从哲学思考和文学创作的命题出发,在西方社会和宗教文化的背景下,对他的生命意识作比较详细的研究,应该是一件有意义的事情。
William Wordsworth, a poet and literary theorist, arouses great attention both at home and abroad. He mentions frequently the question of life and death in his works from various levels and different perspectives, and forms a peculiar literary phenomenon, which, unfortunately, is ignored by the critics. It is significant to study it thoroughly in view of philosophical reflection and literary creation against a background of western culture and religion.
