摘要
围绕正义问题,通过重构亚里士多德与荀子之间的适当对话,揭示了两位思想家在城邦的自然性、正义的城邦以及它们与人的自然本性关系等问题上的基本思路,表明前者对广泛意义上"正义"的两种规定——即正义就是"守法"和"与他人相关的德性之总体"——很大程度上也有助于刻画荀子儒学中"礼义"这一核心观念,并且,亚里士多德的正义观念和荀子的礼义观念与它们各自形而上学的理论基础或理论预设之间都存在着某些张力和冲突。不过,这并不意味对伦理性—政治性实践哲学的探究可以或应该摆脱形而上学的奠基。
Focusing on the issue of justice,and through rebuilding an appropriate dialogue between Aristotle and Xunzi,this essay reveals the basic train of thought of the two thinkers about some issues,such as the naturalness of city-state,the justice in city-state and their relations with human nature,and shows that,the two Aristotelian definitions on justice in broad sense,which are"lawfulness"and"the whole of virtues with relation to others",to a large extent also help describe the core conception in Xunzi's Confucianism,which is called "social rites and appropriateness"(liyi礼义).Besides,although there are some tensions and conflicts between Aristotle's concept of"justice",Xunzi's idea of"decorum and righteousness",and their metaphysically theoretical basis or presupposition,this does not mean that,we can or should explore ethical-politically practical philosophy without the foundation of metaphysics.
