Objective:To explore the clinical effect of Guizhi Fuling Pill on non-proliferative diabetic retinopathy(NPDR)and its effect on ocular function.Method:A total of 65 NPDR patients treated in our hospital from September 2017 to September 2018 were randomly divided into 33 cases of treatment group and32 cases of control group according to the coin toss, two groups were given hypoglycemic treatment, based on this, the treatment group was given Guizhi Fuling Pill for one month, the changes of the eye function and TCM syndrome score of two groups were evaluated before and after treatment.Result:After treatment, the average visual acuity and the score of improvement of fundus lesions in the treatment group were significantly higher than those in the control group, and the visual acuity improvement efficiency, fundus improvement efficiency and Fundus fluorescein angiography(FFA)efficiency were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the macular fovea thickness and the score of TCM syndromes in the treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Guizhi Fuling Pill can improve the visual acuity of patients with non-proliferative diabetic retinopathy and improve the outcome of their fundus lesions,it is safe, therefore,it is recommended to use Guizhi Fuling Pill in the treatment of non-proliferative diabetic retinopathy.
