也谈古代汉语教材中的“古今字”问题

On the Defect of Gujinzi(古今字) Teaching in Ancient Chinese Textbooks

摘要 部分现代学者视"古今字"为指称文字孳乳问题的汉字学术语,并将这种与传统观念迥异的定义编入古代汉语教材,使"古今字"与其他汉字学术语纠缠不清,后人还往往据此曲解、非议前贤的训诂成果,给学术研究带来了消极影响。"古今字"是常见的传统训诂术语,古代汉语教材应换用其他术语指论文字孳乳问题,并正本清源地将"古今字"作为古书训释用语引介,以使学生能正确利用古注阅读文献。 Despite traditional consensus,some modern scholars emphasized that Gujinzi(古今字) is a term of Chinese Character development in the textbooks they compiled,but they ignored the logical differences between Gujinzi (古今字) and other terms of character development. Therefore,these textbooks usually misled students to wrongly criticize many outstanding ancient researches and had a negative impact on academic research. Gujinzi(古今字) is a common traditional term of exegesis; for Ancient Chinese textbook, it is necessary to choose other terms when introducing the phenomenon of character development; what is also certainly needed is to clearly introduce Gujinzi(古今字) as a term of exegesis,so that students could correctly understand ancient literature through Gujinzi (古今字) exegesis.
