On the “Ya” of Chinese Tea Ceremony’s Aesthetics

摘要 本文梳理了学术界关于中国茶德的七种概括,着重论述了'正清和雅'。作者认为,'正''清''和'是茶事之体,'雅'则是茶事之用。基于中国哲学体用一源的原理,作者分别就'正雅''清雅''和雅'进行了论述,并强调此三者共相构成了中国茶道的蕴藉之美。但就中国古典茶道的历史内涵而言,茶道之所以称为'道',并不只是茶事活动,而是必与'道'相联系的。作为一个'事件'的茶道活动,实质上是一种有意味的形式,是实现体道、悟道的方式,茶道活动因此也就成为呈现道体自身实在之无限性的有限的事相现场。以此为前提,作者充分论述了茶与道之间的内在关联。 This paper sorts out seven generalizations of Chinese tea virtues in academia,and focuses on the views of'rightness,quietness,harmony and elegance'(Zheng Qing He Ya).The author of this paper thinks that'rightness'(Zheng),'quietness'(Qing),'harmony'(He)are the essence of the tea things,and'elegance'(Ya)is the function of the tea things.Based on the principle of one source of essence and function in Chinese philosophy,the author discusses the'rightness and elegance'(Zheng Ya),'quietness and elegance'(Qing Ya),'harmony and elegance'(He Ya),respectively,and emphasizes that these three constitutes the beauty and richness of the Chinese tea ceremony.But in terms of connotation of the history of classical Chinese tea ceremony,the reason why tea ceremony is called'ceremony'(Dao),is not just an activity of tea things,but also need to link to the'ceremony'.Tea ceremony activity,as an event,is,in essence,a kind of meaningful form,and is a way to realize and understand the'ceremony',therefore tea ceremony activity becomes the scene of presenting finite manifestation of the infinite essence of ceremony.On this premise,the author fully discusses the internal relationship between tea and ceremony.
