加拿大园林设计师的工作在国内外都产生了重要的影响。通过加拿大风景园林行业的产生、行业组织的发展、市政园林部门的形成过程、专业教育的形成与发展以及当前的行业动态,阐述了加拿大风景园林行业起源与发展的历程。
Origin and development in the history of landscape architecture in Canada are discussed in the paper. The main contents include the establishment of the profession, development of professional
organizations, growth of the municipal departments of landscape architecture, evolution of professional education, and trends in contemporary practice. Work being undertaken by Canadian landscape architects today has created significant influence both at home and abroad.
