摘要
本研究以大学校长毕业典礼致辞为例,从历时性角度出发,聚焦人称代词、情态动词、互文等语言策略,揭示我国高教机构变迁与话语实践之间的关系。研究表明,近年来大学领导愈加重视与学生建立和谐一致的同盟关系,通过各种话语策略缩短校长与学生的人际距离。我国高教话语很大程度上是强调同盟性的民主平等话语和突出权威性的儒家传统话语的混合产物。
This study examines the commencement addresses given by university presidents to reveal the relations between changes in higher education institutions in China and the related discursive practices.By looking at linguistic features such as personal reference,modality,engagement and intertextuality from a diachronic perspective,it reveals a recent tendency for university leaders to build solidarity and harmonious relationship with students by using various discourse strategies.The discourse of Chinese universities therefore needs to be seen as a hybrid of democratized discourse marked by solidarity building and authoritarian Confucian discourse marked by power asymmetry upholding.
