摘要
本磁光调制器采用(Bi,Tm)_3(Fe,Ga)_5O_(12)和(Bi,Pr,Gd,Yb)_3(Fe,Al)_5O_(12)单晶薄膜作为磁光介质,膜厚2~10μm。调制波长范围0.55~2.5μm,调制频率2Hz~160KHz,调制度0.2~0.7。最小调制功率(f=1KHz)约20mW。经光学测量系统和仪器中试用,其效果良好。
Single crystal films of (Bi, Tm)_3 (Fe, Ga)_5O_(12) and (Bi, Pr, Gd,
Yb)_3 (Fe, Al)_5O_(12) are used as magneto-optic media in the magneto-optic modu-
lators. The thickness of the films is 2~10μm, modulating wave-length 0. 55
2. 5μm, modulating frequency 2Hz~160KHz and modulation depth 0. 2~0. 7.
Minimum drive power is about 20mW at f=1KHz. The magneto-optic modula-
tors have been successfully used in optical measuring systems and apparatus-
