摘要
《广西一览》是新桂系主政广西时期的一部大型百科类画册,老照片数量众多,内容丰富,庶几全面展示了广西的自然风貌、物产资源、人文景观、生产生活、先贤时流和重要历史事件等,与《广西一览》文字资料相得益彰,为研究晚清民国广西史、新桂系史和广西文化遗存提供了珍贵的具象资料,具有重要的文献价值。
Glimpses of Kwangsi is a large encyclopedic picture album first published in the period when New Guixi was in charge of Guangxi. In it old photos are numerous and content is rich. It shows the natural features,property resources,human landscape,production and life,the then situation of the sages and important historical events of Guangxi in an all-round way. These photos and words complement each other,and they have important literature value for the study of the history of Guangxi from the late Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China.
