摘要
碰撞反应池是电感耦合等离子体质谱中去除多原子离子干扰的重要手段,通过使用SIMION软件对池中离子的运动特性进行了研究,有效分析了影响碰撞池效率的因素。模拟显示:碰撞反应池在标准模式下工作时,离子的最大偏移半径直接影响着仪器的信号强度,保证q值(射频数值)和射频电压为定值时,检测不同离子采用不同频率,离子聚焦效果近似。碰撞反应池在碰撞模式下工作时:离子发生碰撞聚焦效应,离子通过率降低,信号强度减弱;不同半径离子的能量碰撞损失不同,在较低增压下差异明显,适合采用动能歧视效应去除副产物干扰。模拟结果与实验相符,且模拟能够为仪器参数优化、实验参数设计提供指导。
Collision reaction cell is a key means to eliminate interference from polyatomic ions in inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry(ICP-MS).Applying SIMION software to investigate the kinetic characteristics of ions in the cell,this paper has effectively analyzed the factors which influenced the efficiency of collision cell.The simulation showed that,under standard mode of collision reaction cell,the maximal shift radius of ions directly affected instrument signal intensity,and if q value(the value of radio frequency)and radio frequency pressure were difinited,the focus effect of different ions were similar when detected at different frequency.Under the collision mode of the cell,focusing effect occurred during the collision of ions,which induced a decrease on the passing rate of ions and diminish of signal intensity.The energy collision loss of different-radius ions was also different,which was more obvious at low pressure.It was proper to adopt kinetic discrimination effect to remove the interference from byproducts.The simulation results were consistent with the experiment,indicating that simulation could provide guidance for the optimization of instrument parameters and design of experimental parameters.
