摘要
介绍了碎石桩在粉土、砂土地基处理工程中的应用 ,阐明了其提高地基承载力及防止地基液化的内在机理 ,并结合三个工程实例 。
This paper clarifies the mechanism of improvement in bearing capacity and prevention of liquefaction by installing gravel piles, which have been successfully used to treat silt and sand deposits. Three engineering dealing with gravel piles are presented in this paper. Meanwhile, the matters needing attention in construction process are enumerated as well as the advantages and disadvantages of this strengthening technique.
