摘要
奉行学术自由使美国大学校园有了宽松的氛围 ,使在校师生有了强烈的使命感和责任感。追求学术诚信让美国大学注重教学质量 ,强调知识创新。本文分为两个部分 :第一部分讲述了学术自由的界定、理解和责任 ;第二部分叙述了学术诚信的重要性与必要性。
The implementation of academic freedom has brought a free atmosphere to the American university campuses, and thus both the faculty and students feel a strong sense of mission and responsibility. The pursuit of academic integrity has enabled the American universities to lay emphasis on the quality of teaching and the creation of knowledge. This article is composed of two parts. The first part is an introduction to the definition, understanding and responsibilities of academic freedom. The second part elaborates on the importance and necessity, conception and connotation of academic integrity, and the safeguarding measures and essential environment to guarantee knowledge creation.
