本文阐述美式英语与英式英语在发音、拼写、词汇和语法等方面的区别,并从美国历史的角度分析了这些区别的起源,还阐述了当前看待这些区别的几种不同观点,并陈述了自己的观点供英语学习者参考。
This research paper concentrates on the differences between American English and British English in pronunciation, spelling, vocabulary, grammar and usages. It also analyzes the origin of the differences in terms of American history, and presets the author's own attitude on how to look upon the differences by taking exception against some other existing views
